No, this is misleading statement, imo it could be neither of both, the geophysics characteristics are not sufficient enough to tell if it's either IOCG or Nb-REE, but if they have done surface sampling and not rushed for drilling then they would have better idea what they are drilling for, I'm not a geo, but this is what I got/learn from the research, maybe someone with more experience can explain this better?
what you said ..."either...." it sounds like if it's not a Nb-REE then it will be a IOCG deposit.
