Hard to prove, he could just say he kept changing his mind or was just a bit stupid, etc. Also ASIC has much easier targets, when they're awake that is. It's widespread practice but usually done more intelligently than this turkey.
The ADR roadshows in the US this week and next may sir up some solid buying, it would be poetic justice if this guy was taken out without warning. The Yanks in this stock before have shown they will chase stock up a few notches in one bid, however this may be the reason he seems to be staying well above the action now.
