Your ones sound as if they could be Lasercams, can be set up temporarily on tripods, this previously was a gap in the RTS product range but was filled when RTS bought the bones of Poltech. About the best product Poltech had was the Lasercam and mention of it brings a smile to the face of the RTS CEO.

Apparently it already has Home Office approval in the UK (a lengthy process) and big things are expected with it in Europe and the UK.
