what you say is absolutely correct
RDM is a highly speculative play -- high risk, high reward.
And for a stock like this , certain things are important, some of which we have with RDM
One is a quality management team, peer recognized and competent, and another would be an underlying asset which effectively put a floor under the sp. Though some hc posters have indicated they don't think Maronen qualifies as this, many experts in the industry believe it does. Whom readers prefer as reliable sources of information is entirely up to them.
Some luck is required certainly , you refer to the jv partners as mitigating that factor somewhat and that is my belief as well. RDM's projects would have to be of a certain quality to attract these sorts of jv partners in the first place, so along with you I am comfortable with my investment.
An investment like this imo requires having some faith in your own research and backing it rather than moaning about this or that and undermining what the management is trying to achieve.
