rdm "countdown to results" thread

Just creating a new thread to bring us home to the drill hitting the spot and visuals being declared.

I was going through some dates on paper and figured I may as well type in here for you all to check/correct weigh in on (as my knowledge of how drilling progresses as far as shifts/holidays works is non-existent... Calling Jamie05?)

anyway...

ANN DATED: 04/12/12 - Deep drilling of MRN12004 commenced and "expected to take four weeks to complete". (Lets assume we commenced on the 4th)

ANN DATED: 20/12/12 - Progress on MRN12004 pauses for Christmas/NY break on direction on 19/12/12 at a depth of 460.2m with the drilling target still estimated to be 350-400m below.

That puts us at total drilling days of
16 including weekends, or 12 excluding weekends (drilling continues on weekends?). With a total drilled of 460 m we have
460/16 = 28.75 so approx 30m per day (or 460/12 = 38.3 or approx 40m per day).

Using these figures, we are still 350/28.75 = 12 days approx from reaching target, or 350/38.3 = 9 days approx from the target depending on the above.

As I said, this is a rough estimation, i'm sure some days we have more getting done than others like any job, and I've allowed for working and not working weekend scenarios.

So 12 days from the target with continuous drilling puts a key date at Sat 19th, or alternatively for 9 days at Wednesday 16th.
