S1 XT means it was a special crossing, and i'm pretty sure the 1 means 1 day to settle. It it usually (but not always) followed by a change in substantial holding notice, ceasing to be a substantial holder notice, or becoming a substantial holder notice. basically the big boys buying/selling, or attaining ownership over the shares for a particular reason.
