With the sell price at A$1.99 currently it says to me that the powers that be want sellers. They have buyers waiting in the wings of that I am confident. The point about which I am not confident is that the scribes in POMMY land are full of consolidation in the oil industry relating to the independants of mid to small size. If they are correct then I believe HDR may be the first of a number of deals between now and next summer.
In a nutshell I have not got a clue what is happening with HDR right now and am trying to make sense of what little we do have available to us
Tullows record with takeovers seems good but that does not prevent they have to raise their initial offer if another bid appears.
I think TLW wants Block 2 Uganda very badly and will not give it up without one hell of a fight
