Re 404.2 carat diamond, page-13

Had a quick look and even longer think into just exactly what has transpired in the past week.............

Let's put things into perspective for a bit of fun;

LOM have unearthed a rare 404 carat type lla coloured gem

It is the largest ever found in Angola.

Crickey - in 2014 alone Angola mined 9.3 million carats worth $US1.2 billion! But none this size!

Also in 2014/15 the top 10 diamond mining countries unearthed 129 million carats of diamonds !
This was worth an estimated $US13.7 billion.

I am thinking that in just that year alone there were a few diamonds found.

Just think how many have been found since and in all those years before including that monster 1,111 carat this year .

And the LOM diamond was the 27th biggest ever. The 27th !!!!!!!!!

It could be that they never find another one this size again - I am guessing they just might!

It will be interesting to see how Europe goes in the next few days and how our market digests the news.
