If the VIX spikes we go lower. If it's over 30I'll be sweating on a correction.

I'll leave them open. Eventually they will either be closed breaking even or in profit. If they are way out of the money I will try and minimise losses.

I was sitting on a short at 7177 for months thinking it will never get hit but I didn't want to take the loss. Then the end of Jan 2022 came and sorted that out completely. Same the other way. I had one at 7625 and when it hit 7650 I closed it. Didn't think I would have that one hit either.

I know it's not ideal but in between I have enough capital to make money while I'm waiting. I think the most number of positions I have had open at any one time was 11 or 12. They were mostly 5 contract positions.
