+CP trades are out of "retail" level depth and they are essentially saying "sell into this if you want to lose the shares" the CP orders block the algo from selling back to itself in a way that retail can see.
With retail not able to see the trades, it's pointless selling more back to itself because it can't convince more retail to sell at a loss.
That's not saying they wont try and screw it in the closing auction.
