I see a parallel here to HDR's troubles in Mauritania - often initial excitment about discoveries get pared back after production issues, flow rates, HDR eventually was taken over by Tullow & its Ugandan assests became the core focus. WPL eventually sold out of Mauritania with its tail behind its legs.

I have not really followed AED enough recently to comment on current problems, but you need a very thick pair of beer glasses to like the AED price chart
