Beattie refers to Beazley, not Johnny Howard when he says its over to the Feds. His Federal party is due to debate the issue at their conference in 4/07. I personally don't want to have to rely on this vote - Ferguson may not carry the day against the luddites. I am relying on Howard taking control and as others have said the public are being prepared for the move now.It has been widely reported that the Federal Govt has the legal power . The tipping point should be the release of the Parliamentary report into developing Australia's non-fossil fuel energy industry - they have finished their hearings and are due to report in the not too distant future - imho it will be not only pro uranium but pro enrichment as well and will recommend one regime for mining nationwide. This along with the new JORC from SMM should give us our $3+
