As an ex Lihir investor I am happy enough with the course of events over the last year and a bit however I have some slight concerns with trading in the stock this year. With the stock on sale at the moment it presents excellent opportunity for those looking to accumlulate. NCM has a proven track record in exploration and developing resources - the projected growth profile discussed on page 6 excludes ounces from West Africa / Wafi Golpu( which will continue to add resources imo) / O;Callaghans/NAmosi/Gosawing 2 etc. On an international basis I would say that Goldcorp and Newcrest are the 2 major players that stand out in terms of growth potential Going forward as cash flows increase I would expect significant dividend increases and or share buybacks.
