If I was trying to get the best possible deal under an option agreement or potentially be looking at a takeover what harm is there in suggesting I'm unhappy with the board and could walk??
I think Absolutely Clueless is correct. If the option isn't exercised remember there is plenty of cash and from the update the reduction in the measurable serum IL6 levels indicates there is a real benefit (p4 of the announcement). People saying they feel better/no change/worse etc is always noisy at best.
In fact the more I think about it, not exercising the option or asking for an extension is probably NN best move from a game theory perspective.
I've put a ST buy based on the share price movement but expect more negatives if NN decides not to exercise; which they would do if they believe no competitor would be able to move in the short run.
The end game may just be starting!
