You understand that if the acquisition deal is successful, whoever the acquirer is, will also benefit? I am aware of any other potential acquirer of SDL, there hasn't been a single mention in an official SDL announcement of a potential other acquirer. If you wish to believe that there is (although there appears not) you must also understand that the acquirer of SDL will also benefit.

The current acquisition deal of SDL, via ANS, will give ANS a majority stake in SDL. In layman terms ANS will effectively the controlling shareholder of SDL. You cannot deny that this will greatly benefit the acquiring company and its respective shareholders.

Like many others have previously stated this is not a competition of which company is better, both companies will benefit greatly from the acquisition.
