Nevertheless if Trump is serious about being pro business and pro energy then at least NAME your nominee/s for FERC.

This puts the onus back on the Dems to confirm and starts the vetting process now.

One of the Trump's presidencies first acts was to name LaFleur as Acting Chairman and stripping Chairman Bay of that title. Was it a surprise to Trump that Bay would resign? Did he know it would leave only two Commissioners (and no quorum) because the Republicans wouldnt let Obama nominate anyone to replace the two Republican Commissioners who left during his administration?

Given all that is happening at the Trump white house right now lets hope at least Perry is in his ear reminding him about the FERC quorum. Replacing a National Security Adviser and defending claims of links to Russia might be a higher priority right now but it means real business in a key policy area is being directly impacted.
