There are a couple of issues with Rinker. Alum Thompson, director of Barrick Gold has joined Rinker. This could mean a few things, but there are "voices" in the market that perhaps if the market is to soften futher, Berkshire Hathaway which is known to be involved in bland and boring sectors such as insulation, carpeting etc... so hey you never know with these things, RIN sells gypsum wallboards in Florida and exceeding expectations. The other issue with Rinker is, it may face court action from a local Health district authority in the U.S because it dumped 2,500 tons of dirt and construction debris containing ar-senic and cadmium at Rinker's Maltby site. It could be out of compliance with state and local landfill laws. I am unsure of the potential damage it could cause Rinker if the court case goes ahead.
