All fair points. My observatoins are more simplistic:
40 million buys at around 9.9 cents average
13 million sells at around 11.9 cents average

All I see is a big imbalance and the possibility of more sellers down the line as the tax break comes into play.
If you are, say, 200% ahead and qualify for the tax break, you may not be that phased by a 10 drop on the sale price, especialy if you don't see the sp moving in the medium term.
