Crazy - you need to leave that chip behind at times my friend

Yes, its true that I've held for some years, but the major parcel I purchased recently at 5:59. Of course I'm concerned if any of my shares drop in value, but when a share is reaching new (recent) highs almost daily then there will nearly always be some minor pull back.

Not sure what your expectation is being a 'newbie', but many folks purchased TLS for the dividend yield -as long as TLS can continue to pay the divis then the day to day value is of little concern. Over the longer term the SP will reflect future profits so will self correct sooner or later.

Any movement by government to remove the FC system would cause such a shock to the markets that it could trigger a nasty recession. They know this and thus it will not happen, IMO. They may play around with it over a number of years, but that is a risk if investing based on government hand-backs.

If this is your only stock then you may want to consider some diversification ?
