Hi sbah2
No offence taken at all. Appreciate your views.
Tony/PLV demonstrates giving a damn by posting here. Management demonstrate this by regularly buying share parcels on market.
Relationships strength is demonstrated by PLV being able to develop meaningful relationships with the indigenous peoples..and..acquire the remaining 50% of the project.
These are tangible and measurable things.
Could they improve? Yes. I think recent reports (Tony was accountable enough to answer my questions on this)demonstrate some 'disconnect' somewhere along the line with market appreciation...
By that I mean the differing valuations attributed and assumptions made by analysts in determing BUY/HOLD recs for the company.
PLV may not be in control of these things as Tony pointed out. However questions will be asked when conflicting views/reports are given or forecasted by objective parties.
Re your question on feedback I stated that PLV 'accept' feedback. 'Heeded' feedback is another matter that we all have our personal views on.
Lets remember many companies do not even enter into a dialogue or recognition of shareholders.
PLV does.
Now before I start singing the praises of PLV any further, its just that PLV are doing things they 'should' be doing imo....and what many other companies dont bother to.
sbah2 I too would like to think I have not invested in a Not for profit organisation.
I've stated it before that PLV and Tony have ridden the highs and lows here.
Reality is that on the down times questions will be asked and accountability will be further questioned.
This needs to be embraced by PLV...not shunned...the next few months will be interesting.
Management need to further demonstrate their committment in these times to shareholders and the market by being accountable for their actions and expenditure and, at least to this point, take ownership of the failure to effectively manage the share price above last years cap raising.
Whether that is 'fair' or otherwise. It will be the case.
Challenging gig perhaps...but then its challenging for all concerned...and...management by definition is required (to 'manage') particularly at these times..and lets not forget, they are rewarded accordingly for that.
Tougher the times. Tougher for management. Thats what they signed up for....thats what they get paid for.
