re: ccc options Funny, the hotcopper paranoia about non holders motives when they only posting themselves to pump their stock up never ceases to amaze me!

Since I have little else to do I will talk a little about why I post on gefi. There is never one reason. Motivations are often complex. But I don't like to think that people would benefit from dishonesty and stock forums are a small window to hold people at least a little accountable.

More recently though, to be honest, I'm just intrigued. They came out publicly and said that the game was up at that general meeting. The share collapsed further, but then in response to the ASX query they said there was nothing going on! Ever since, its like the public meeting that is on tape never happened.

They then had a trading halt to announce a formal bidding process. Fair enough. But then when the bids came in they gave not idea of what they were! Surely that is even more sensitive info than the fact your are opening a formal bidding process.

At the same time they have obviously been marketing to UK investors who have being pushing the stock, obviously oblivious to what is going on within the group structure.

Its really a very interesting story. I find a learn a lot. For instance, this option payout is so extreme it will be a case study in whether directors give securities to an outside group for no reason. I would keep following to see what happens with that alone.
