Management need to do the work to locate the next target in the lease at FP away from the salt dome and work that as the next project while redrilling the first hole to the identified target.
With hydrocarbons identified on the lease it seems in plentiful amounts surely engaging a consultant/university or two to work around the salt problem would be considered as moving forward if the redrill results in continued salt problem.
