Now 60, I am looking at the Re-contribution strategy for savings on death benefits paid to non dependants by my SMSF in the event of my passing.
To undertake this I will need to sell down a proportion of my portfolio and before I embark on this strategy I would like to establish a check list to ensure that I have considered all possible issues such as CGT, possible losses relating to the time frame between selling stocks and buying back in, administration issues to pacify ATO etc....
Has anyone any info they would like to share with me regarding this strategy and the considerations one must take during this process.
