It appears that we got a clue today of the Niger delta land they are looking at.

"Conclusion of the Matanda agreements will trigger negotiations for the adjoining permit in the Niger Delta."

So, the new possible "Delta" lease area ADJOINS PH72 Matanda block. Matanda is seperated from the Rio del Rey basin to its west by Mt.Cameroon.

So unless the Govt gives them the mountain, the potential lease area connects to Matanda at the North Eastern end of Mt. Cameroon and runs in an West / east direction to Rio del rey.
It may even dog leg down on the west side of the mountain and join Bowlevens luscious block 7.

That's my guess. No Bakassi west, so no conflict area involved but still a connection to Rio del rey.
