re: elephant territory graham58 The Fairfield rig was built in the 1950's is only suitable for workovers on existing wells and would need costly upgrading to get in a state capable of drilling wells( it needs BOPs, mud tanks, extra pumps etc etc). Last I heard it was being mooted as being set up in Perth as a training rig to teach aspiring drillers. The rig is hardly an asset in its current state.
In addition, ARQ's best prospect in the perth Basin, Drakea, may not get drilled in this current program due to politics with Origin. Bring on AGL I say
