The best piece of driving advice my esteemed and gracious father ever gave me was to regard every other person on the road as an offensive drivers, you can't get into too much trouble if you do.
However if you read the papers or watch the news on TV, it is obvious that there is a percentage of motorists that do truly qualify as proper offensive drivers. If we can get them to believe that holiday periods are more dangerous, then perhaps there is a chance a few more of us defensive drivers may make it home from the holidays.
