    OMV has been active in Australia since 1998. With the successful acquisition of Cultus Petroleum in 1999, Australia and New Zealand has become a core E&P area of OMV. The activities of the Group are focused on the Carnarvon and Bonaparte Basins of the North West Shelf offshore of the western coast of Australia.
