I do use google to find the definition for select trading terms when I need them...I have my own, now 40 page, trading manual developed from the first day I started day trading covering many things and wherein I call things I pick up, lessons learnt, characteristics, patterns, etc. whatever I like...give them my own names...that way much easier to remember...hahah...and then describe and define them...and funny thing is, as soon as you give a phenomena a name, you suddenly look at it much more scientifically in the way you try to define it and turn it into executable rules...I find my own little world does sometimes correspond with what the experts have written down before...much more fun doing it your own way.......my calls speak for themselves though...and that's why I make them because it forces me to be more precise and at the same time legitimises my approach if I get them right enough of the time...many ways to skin a cat...I think you can too Rx7...you're a great lateral thinker so don't get bogged down too much in the 'old' theory......as long as you approach every trade as a learning experience and analyse in detail (as much as you can) what the circumstances and associated results were you then just need to build experience while keeping that approach...which at the end of the day is the most crucial bit....

thanks I dont always believe what i read. i prefer looking at graphs for hours and figuring out trends. And patterns. detail is the key. if i recognize this pattern i would see if it would emulate on a different stock different industry etc. it has worked and it hasnt worked at times. I am still fine tuning it. I am not broke just yet.......
