That COP necessitates high value adding from high quality mineral and fortunately that is exactly what the company has.
A$4774/t for advanced processed products (fob Port Adelaide) makes the COP relatively insignificant. Looking at the demand curve for the various grades of graphite, small flake demand shows minimal increase to 2020 whereas the jumbo and vein demand graph goes skyward, it far outstrips demand for every other category including large flake. The company is positioning its production in line with evolving market demand for highly processed mineral using the very best graphite available anywhere.
