Maybe DP needed to mention diamond exploration in order to justify the appointment of Prof Ken Collerson (his brother/son in law?)on to the board?
The blurb on JRV website about Collerson says:
Ken brings to the Board more than 37 years of geological experience that enhances Jervois Mining Limited's ability to maintain its core activities, to effectively launch a new exploration program for diamonds, and to evaluate exploration opportunities for other strategic emerging commodities, such as the platinum group elements. Ken's research on the genesis kimberlites, lamproites and the macrocryst suite xenoliths, has recently enabled the development of a new model for diamond exploration within Australia and overseas.
