re: getting hammered for nothing i dont know if this only happens to me, but everytime i go big in a blue chip, the share price becomes volatile BIG time
bought mbl a few months ago at $64 only to watch it slide to $58 & see saw up & down 3 to 4 % daily. patience saw me out for a nice profit at $68
same deal with bhp, bought at $31.95 & have watched it see saw 3 to 4% daily & it looks like going further south.
just have to keep patient in times like these.
