Nobby your question can be asked of many stocks:
FMG - we all read the reports OXR - We all knew what they had at Sepon PDN - We all knew they would mine Uranium soon
and so on......
Yet most missed out on the MASSIVE gains that were possible. What the market needed in all of the above was simply: CONFIRMATION!!!
The same is required of AEX! In the meantime short-term holders & traders have pulled their $$$ out to put it into something thats moving ... CTO, CRE, OMC etc etc. Fair enough, they want their money showing a profit.
I am sure any announcement & upward movement will see them back.
A lot has been said on this board against management. I ignore these posts, as HC is an open forum & hence, while it can inform, it can be also be a forum for erroneous gossip. Nothing wrong with management! They need a uranium specialist, they acknowledge this & are headhunting now!
However, traders/holders want a Director appointed on their timetable, ie: now! so that their shares can go up in price - now!. While I too want to see a profit, I want them to choose the best! Someone that will be alloted and/or purchase shares in AEX & have a vested interest in it's success. It will have to be someone who is prepared to base most of his time in Africa. It will have to be someone that they are absolutely confident in, to take DD to production stage.
The appointment WILL come! Drilling WILL start soon. The market WILL pay attention to AEX again.
