IMO, NWE has had perhaps had a little too much exposure over the last few weeks resulting in it becoming an easy play for traders. Far too much emphasis has been given on a most likely positive outcome.
Whatever the rationale you may like to come up with for this does not change anything - the stock APPEARS to be being sold down. Note that the SELL side stack to the previous day's close is minimal (right now, yesterday's close =7.8c. sell stack abt. 241k below 7.8c.)- i.e. at any time - say on a positive announcement, traders (or whoever is playing the game) could easily reverse the trend to upwards while making money at the same time - as they MAY have accumulated shares at the lower prices on longer term expectations.
As far as the company NWE is concerned - IMO, don't make any 'unplanned' announcements before Thursday - this might just spoil the party by reducing some speculation in the market.
In the mean time, NWE continue with the programme of testing and proving - so, for the true believers, holding is still an option rather than selling out cheaply to a bot tool.
