The only contribution many of these twits made was a contribution in assisting lesser informed or novice investers in losing their money.
According to them, pre-announcement, this was going through, the roof, the next BHP, a repeat of Cudeco, toot toot here comes $5, $10 etc and the like. Anyone could see this was total garbage.
Of course nobody could foresee how the deal would be made up and that is exactly why such outlandish statements should not have been made.
The crux of the matter is that the market itself was always sceptical about this deal pre-announcement and it had every right to be. As I said in a post around that time, there was an air of expectation regarding the deal as the share price tried to creep in to the 20s up until the deal was announced and at that time there was no sign that a fantastic deal had been done that was going to promote ARH in to the big league. If it was really a case of "Relax it's all good" don't you think that the guys really in the know would have been getting on this well before the day of the announcement, well before these twits had woken up to it ?
My own contribution to the forum around that time was scepticism and I was quickly kicked in the head and beaten and abused in quite a disgusting backlash from these twits who would not contemplate for a moment that their was any possibility the price may in fact do the opposite to their soothsaying. I am still angered by that.
