I used to be an Atheist, just like you . and my heart felt empty . I tried to fill my heart with all kind of rubbish and it didn't work.
I had questions like ,what is the reason of my existence ? ? ,what is the purpose of my life ,why do i had to be born ?etc etc....

The only place i could find answers was the Bible and i do not feel empty anymore.

I suggest you start reading the new testament.
