1.40 confluencing the 50% fib is where the attack of the stops were. 1.51 couldn't hold today from the start.
It does look like delaying the inevitable sell off as price could potentially recover to 1.51 then meet another wall of sellers. The 'gut' is really seeing profit taking in this sector with no end in sight. Good luck
