    I shouldn't bother but hows this for a thought

    I assume when you invest money in realestate you do so due to the fact that the the gains would be greater the the gains you would acheive in a bank account, so why on earth would you prolong settlement and not capitalise on your investment as soon as possible some people have it others don't which catergory do you fall in?
