sabre, i hope you are right. this is my very first post and i learn a lot from you guys. i speak to a lot of the workers at the sugar mills in ingham and they tell me that the management is slack about properly maintaining the factory, the machinery, the sugar bins etc, and it often proves costly. sugar bins loaded with sugar often coming off the rail tracks. the workers say the a lot of money needs to be spent to get the mills back to peak capacity. this year the weather has been a problem with too many wet days interfering with the harvesting. canefarmers not happy with csr about the ability to get the crop off because of the breakdowns in the mills and the wet weather. however price is ok and tonnage could ok.
there may be better days ahead
