it is entirely possible that with the ongoing upward trend of coal prices, and South Africa's dire need for power supplies, we could see the reincarnation of Firestone energy. proposals could possibly be put forward in march/april that will enable us to recoup some value from the shares we hold. It could be that the economics of the project stack up much more favourably with the cooling of the labour market, and the heating of energy prices.
Also, with contractors looking for projects now, some form of partnership with a bigger contractor could be an option.
It would be great to see the 2 year anniversary of suspension celebrated with news of our return to the ASX and JSE and a full on resumption of the project...both the export and the Eskom
