Can you imagine Elon Musk saying to the giga factory (hold everything I am just going to hop in the jet and race down to have a look at this new battery) does it ever end, just let the 60 odd giga factories get built and start producing the batteries that we know works lithium ion.
Let the fellows in their white coats with fuzzy hair and thick glasses play around with their new stuff maybe one day it will get used.
