An interesting read: It would seem that the major auto manufacturers are not the only ones in the EV game - and the converters are having trouble keeping up with new orders. "Convert your old gas guzzler" to electric is a fast growing dynamic in the EV/battery space - and its cheaper than the Real McCoy. Just buy a classic with a buggered engine and gear box for $500 and the conversion boys make it electric for circa $20,000. Could be a nice little earner for the entrepreneur mechanics going out of business due to the introduction of EVs with bugger all moving parts.
