New lithium ion based battery tech at approx twice the energy density of “standard” Li-ion batteries. Claimed to be much less likely to burn and certainly if the energy density proves out beyond the small quadcopter tests shown so far it would have to have application in transport systems. Details of electrolyte not disclosed. Relies still on Lithium anodes.
