Hi Crocokoala If your confused SQM has achieved their goals.I don't believe they want to expand in any hurry as lithium production is/was a by product from their main earner, potash / fertilizer . If they increase production for lithium this also increases potash production and this could flood the market with potash causing the market for potash to drop/collapse. This is the reason I believe the big brine producers are buying into hard rock mines so that they can increase production and sales of lithium without impacting potash pricing. AIMO.
