The WHO estimates 7 million deaths, worldwide from air pollution, but believes that its more like 9 million. The World Bank backs up their claim sighting the economic damage caused by air pollution. At the worlds first ever multi-national conference on air pollution in Geneva next week, the WHO, backed by the World Bank, is set to back the introduction of ELECTRIC VEHICLES and the closure of fossil fuel power plants as the most efficient method of ameliorating the problem of air pollution.
