i do not agree with you. if no further offer is forthcoming the shareprice will not drop because there is no premium to market value attached to this offer from CPB.
the report today shows CHL is on track to earn 2.5cps this current FY. this places the CPB offer at a paltry 12.4 times earnings......that will never get up for a mining services sector stock where a fair valuation would be 20+ times current earnings for a t/o bid.
realistically CPB must looka at a minimum of a 50c offer to get this tightlly held stock which is going to have a stellar growth year in 06/07 on the back of sharp volume increases in export coal.
