More specifically, jaguar demanded ifm provide software details of its microcat program to jaguar, which of course ifm refused. Sadly, the type of business dealings that one finds too often in india (Tata owns jag and land rover).
Montgomery wrote a thoughtful piece on ifm back in Feb15, mentioning the jag incident and outlining other matters about ifm. You can google a pdf of that article.
