re: macquarie backing The terms of the loan reeks of desperation and only buys them breathing space. It's not enough to resolve the $4 bil debt issue in which the banks do not appear willing to refinance. So it's either ongoing jumbo capital raisings, macbank desperado type loans or hoping ruddbank is approved and comes to the rescue.
Amazing a lot of hotcoppers posters thinks the announcement is positive. lol. Wake up guys. You cannot value a stock that held down with unknown variables such as this deal. This is a pure gamble.
