Maldowl, your post is irresponsible in the extreme. Read the article posted in the link above. It has been displayed on the ABC website and gives a rational view of what is actually happening without media beatup, inuendo or lack of understanding of the science involved. Nuclear power will not be off the agenda. Right now there are only two ways to generate economically viable electric power. That is with a nuclear reactor or a conventional turbine driven by hydro or a coal or gas powered generator. This will not and cannot change in the foreseeable future. To suggest that power generation as we now it will somehow change overnight is total rubbish.I will post the link again here. read it and become fully informed on the true situation with the Japanese reactors.
