Smartinvestor I don't think picking a price of 4c and analysing the information from there represents a true depiction of the situation.

As suggested a better way of doing it may have been on the 52 week low until the last close. That analysis shows:
    Stock Low Current %
    HFA 0.039 0.225 476.92%
    VPG 0.023 0.081 252.17%
    RHG 0.046 0.4 769.57%
    BBI 0.024 0.16 566.67%
    MDT 0.02 0.12 500.00%
    CER 0.016 0.095 493.75%

Yes VPG is the lowest of them all but is still has shown a decent profit and people would have tripled their money. But lets wait and see what happens soon.

Just to highlight the flaw in your method lets compare WBC and NAB. The 52 Week Low comparison:

    Stock Low Current %
    WBC 14.4 20.6 43.06%
    NAB 15.85 22.78 43.72%

    Picking a price:

    Stock at 20 Current %
    WBC 20 20.6 3.00%
    NAB 20 22.78 13.90%

    Stock at 17 Current %
    WBC 17 20.6 21.18%
    NAB 17 22.78 34.00%

As you can see, from their respective lows both these stocks have seen an increase similar to each other of 43ish%, however, comparing them by picking a price grossly distorts the figures.
