As to Cowden, well he has certainly, from short research, had his fingers in probably to many pies.

It seems to me that the tech boom, as it did with many small struggling miners, got him a bit astray.

Most failed, if not all, miserably. However, seen in context of all projects being more or less uneconomical due to low metal prices, one should appreciate the efford to keep the companies a float.

I also note that he was a director of the Gold council for many years.
